Our heavy duty polycotton tarps are of exceptional quality and durability. Available in several different sizes they're versatile pieces of kit to add to your set up. Made from hard wearing 410gsm polycotton canvas with 21 heavily reinforced webbing tie-off points, all packed up in a canvas carry bag.
Photos are mostly of the 3 x 4m size and are kindly supplied by Tom Søndergaard of Cimbrer Bushcraft. See his first impressions video here and here's a video where he demonstrates water purification as well as some further tarp set ups. Tom's a great guy and he loves our tarps!
Please note: Although poly-cotton tarps will resist sparks and the odd ember, they are not flameproof so care must be taken when cooking or using a campfire.

3x3 canvas tarp
Excellent quality to go with my excellent quality swag tent. Very happy camper
3m x 3m tarp
Another very well made product from Outhaus. Set up as a classic tent shape with central ridge line, during the day I raise one side on 2 poles which gives a large useable space in front of fire pit. Fold down into tent shape when I leave which gives a strong wind proof shelter. Intending to leave up all summer/Autum and it seems to be strong enough for this kind of long term camping.
Many thanks, Andy.
As with all the outhaus kit I’ve brought the 4x3 is a high quality item with great workmanship and attention to detail. I hope to get many years of use out of this item.
Tried out my tarp for the first time this weekend. It is very well made, with robust canvas and strong reinforced stitching. The tarp has a pleasant green color, and not the coldish green that some nylon-competitors have. I set up the tarp as an adirondack-shelter with a ridgeline. The tarp is very heavy, so i had to support the front corners with branches to avoid slack in the ridgeline. It gave me a 2 meter tall opening side. My plan is to buy one more, and mirror two adirondack-shelters to form a very big and versatile tent. I can´t wait to try that out with a Gstove this winter. So far highly recommended!
