Now made with finer yarn and a denser weave, these blankets are the perfect balance between warmth and weight and are very large so that you can fold one over if you want to, for double the comfort.
Expertly woven with 80% merino wool and a strong overlocked edge provides strength giving years of use. These high quality blankets get better with age and will become a much-loved friend on your adventures.
Available in a choice of colours* and optional UK-made leather carry straps available soon, use one as part of your sleeping kit or when you're sat around the campfire on a chilly winter evening.
Please note, the pictured straps are not included with the blanket but you can buy some here.
*It is very difficult to replicate colours precisely on a computer or phone screen. If the exact shade is important to you please order a set of swatches. This includes charcoal, dark brown and olive and is taken from our lining wool which are the same colours but slightly thinner wool than the blankets.

Great blanket
This is second camping blanket I'm purchasing from OUTHAUS, this time as a present - excellent product, ticks all the boxes for me. I'm using mine as my badge blanket and for camping.

It’s a good blanket, nearly windproof, it’s that tight a weave, so surprisingly heavy.

It’s a big dense weave fairly heavy mainly wool blanket rounded corners, and overlocked around the edge. Certainly not wind proof, but the dense weave does offer some resistance.

nice and warm
Used with slip in bed roll and air mat. inside my swag. Only used so far in the current summer months but haven't needed to use with a sleeping bag or quilt and slept well. Very good feel and quality. excellent size. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Merino Wool Blanket
I have now had my blanket for well over a year and have been delighted with it. It has been put to multiple uses around camp and even used indoors as a cosy wrap when I have wanted instant warmth. In fact the fire was hardly lit this last winter.

Outhaus Merino Wool Blanket
Great blanket. I’ve sat outside with my little campfire using this dreaming about getting out into the real wild. I was toasty warm and safe from stray sparks. Looks great rolled up in its leather strap. Great buy. Love love love it
