Handmade 20mm or 25mm wide leather straps with brass fittings.
We manufacture these items in our Essex workshop from high quality 4mm thick vegetable tanned leather. Hardware is solid brass, paired with no. 12 copper rivets for superior strength.
These work really well keeping your blanket, tarp or bedroll secure when carrying and we offer each component individually so that you can build your own system and leave out any bits you don't need.
As an example, the classic load carrying harness would consist of:
2 x short utility straps
1 x carry handle
1 x shoulder strap

Long Utility Strap (25mm width, 57-75cm circumference)

Shoulder Strap* (25mm width, 123cm long)
Buckled Adjustable Shoulder Strap* (25mm width, 115-130cm)
*Shoulder Straps clip onto the D-rings of the Carry Handle

Exceptional quality and service
I bought this set with Medium length straps, carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap. The quality is exceptional, quality leather straps and brass buckles. I bought it to carry my poncho when the weather is looking a bit dodgy, especially when we take the dog out or going for long walks. I like the way you can get longer straps, which are easy to change on the rig if I wanted to carry a sleeping mat, large blanket or both. It even looks cool. I love the outdoors, everyone loves to out when the weather’s good, but this set up makes me want to go out in all weather.
